Barry Road Park is located across the street from Park Hill High School Near Barry Road and Congress. It features a modern Children's play facility and shelter than can be reserved through the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department. 8 lighted Tennis Courts are on site and available on a first-come, first-served basis when they are not being used by the High School or other scheduled events.

Platte County Parks playgrounds and restrooms will be closed until further notice.  This includes the playgrounds at Platte Ridge Park, Barry Platte Park, and the Barry Platte Annex.  The restroom facilities at Platte Ridge Park soccer and baseball complexes will also be closed.  Platte County Parks is canceling all ball-field reservations at Barry Platte Park and Platte Ridge Park until further notice per recommendations of the CDC.
