THE FREE FISHING CLINIC
The Missouri Department of Conservation and Platte County Parks & Recreation will host a free fishing clinic at the Platte Ridge Park fishing pond on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10AM-Noon.
The Conservation Department will have poles, hooks, and bobbers available for use, and Platte County Parks will provide the bait! It is not a requirement to use conservation equipment if you would like to bring your own rod, reel & tackle equipment. Come fish at any time during the event and stay as long as the fish are biting.
Representatives from MDC will be available to answer questions and offer advice. Fishing permits are not needed for this event since the weekend of June 8 & 9, 2024, is the statewide free fishing weekend. This is a great opportunity to try something new or get back into fishing if you’ve been away for a while. Show N’ GO Fish! Hope to see you there!
