The Springs Aquatic Center

Managed by Kansas City and Midwest Pool Management

The Springs Aquatic Center is Platte County’s premiere water park facility that opened in May 2006.  The leisure pool covers almost 13,000 square-feet of water surface and features a zero depth entry pool and a large plunge pool at the base of two expansive water slides.  A lazy river and vortex are also included as well as a large children’s sprayground that includes multiple water jets, slides, and tipping buckets.

The eight-lane, 50-meter competitive pool includes over 12,500 square-feet of water surface, a movable bulkhead for lap swimming and four diving boards.  A 9,000 square-foot bathhouse includes men’s, women’s and family changing areas, lifeguard station, and concession facilities with a shaded outdoor patio.

The Springs, located in Tiffany Hills Park at the intersection of North Congress Ave. and Tiffany Springs Rd, is a partnership with the City of Kansas City.  The City owns the facility and has contracted with Midwest Pool Management for the daily operations and programming.  Fees for the facility are listed on the facility website.
