Platte County Community Center North is a county-owned facility managed through a unique partnership with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City.  The county owns the building and all equipment and the YMCA programs the center making it available to all with special discounts for county residents. Features of the facility include an indoor pool, wellness center, children’s play center, a gymnasium and a wide variety of youth and adult fitness and aquatics programs.

The YMCA offers an income-based fee scale called PERSONAL PRICING. This program takes the household income into account to determine a membership rate.  Call  the center at (816) 858-0114 to find our more information about memberships.

Platte County Community Center North is one
of two facilities in the partnership with the YMCA. Under the YMCA umbrella, members have the privilege of utilizing over 12 YMCA facilities in the Kansas City area.

In addition to the many activities available with a membership, the center sponsors some terrific community programs including Trunk n’ Treat in October and Kids’ Night Out , once a month throughout the year.

The center is open seven days a week.
